Sinbad
Actor and Comedian Sinbad has kept audiences laughing in the aisles for over the past two decades. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad makes comedy profound without being profane. The son of a preacher, he decided to keep his comedy clean after his father attended one of his early performances.
Sinbad starred in the television sitcom "A Different World" as well as his own series, "The Sinbad Show". Entertainment mogul Quincy Jones sought out Sinbad to host UPN’s first late night talk show, "Vibe". He also recently appeared as a recurring guest star on the Showtime Original Series "Resurrection Blvd." His annual HBO music concert series "Sinbad’s 70’s Soul Music Festival" received the prestigious NAACP Image Award consecutively for two years as the "Most Outstanding Variety Series/Special". He is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies "Jingle All the Way," playing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; "Houseguest"co-starring the late Phil Hartman, and let’s not forget his film debut "Necessary Roughness", where he did none of his own stunts!
Taylor Mason
Taylor Mason has headlined every major comedy club in the USA. With a national comedy tour and a hit children’s show called "Taylor’s Attic" he is in perpetual motion. Where many present-day comedians often exclude audiences by age, background, and, demographic, Taylor maintains an old-school ethic - he wants to include as many people as possible. He is a world-class ventriloquist. He sings, he plays the piano, writes jokes and produces. He is constantly jet-lagged. Truth be-told, comedy is not his full-time job. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and two teen-aged sons. They once asked him, "Dad? Everybody else's father works for a living. What do you do?" He smiled and said, "Boys... I make fun of those guys."
Leanne Morgan
As a stay-at-home mother of three, Leanne was looking for a way to get some grown up time without interfering with her children or her husband’s career. She turned to selling jewelry at in-home parties. Word of her wonderful sense of humor and intoxicating southern charm spread like wildfire and she found herself booked months in advance. She was so popular that local civic organizations would ask her to host and emcee various events. From here she was asked to entertain at corporate events and a professional comedy career was born.
Leanne’s style of comedy combines southern charm and hilarious story telling about her own life into an act that keeps audiences coming back for more. She was a finalist on Nick at Nite’s Funniest Mom and toured three years with the Southern Fried Chicks.
Thor Ramsey
Thor began his comedy career playing the basement lounge of a Ramada Inn in Des Moines, Iowa. (Because if you can make it in Iowa, you can make it anywhere ). Since he'd reached the pinnacle of showbiz in Des Moines, he moved to Chicago. Soon he was working forty-two weeks a year at major comedy clubs around the country. He then moved close enough to Los Angeles to say that he lives there (but not according to the Post Office). Thor’s smart , jaded, and no nonsense comedy has made him a staple on the comedy circuit. He recently released the book "A Comedian's Guide to Theology."
Lisa Alvarado
Lisa Alvarado was born in Chicago to Peruvian parents and knew at an early age that she wanted to be a stand-up comedian. She performed improv while touring with The Player’s Workshop of Second City. Her talent as a comedian has given her the opportunity to make people laugh all across America. Recently, Lisa was chosen as one of the Top 20 "Up and Coming" Latino Talents in Los Angeles by Tu Cuidad Magazine. Television appearances include NBC’s "Last Comic Standing", Nick at Nite’s "The Search for the Funniest Mom in America 2", ABC’s "Comics Unleashed", SiTv, and LaTv.
Horace HB Sanders
Throughout his 10 year career, Horace has shared the stage with Chris Rock, Richard Jeni, Bernie Mac, Dave Chappelle, LeAnn Rimes, Anita Baker, and Bill Cosby. CBS crowned this Detroit native as the new Star Search Comedy Champion and awarded Horace $100,000.00 and a development deal for his own show. Horace has the distinction of holding the highest score in the show's history, a perfect 20 stars from the celebrity judges and 19 stars from the live home audience. Horace's television appearances include "The CBS Early Show", "CTN- Live", "Comcast Comedy Hour", and "BET Comic View." Comedian Arsenio Hall stated it best, "Horace is like Sarah Lee,... nobody doesn't like him."
